Conditions of carriage
Starting-point wording covering the terms already implemented elsewhere in this build (fixed pricing, cancellation tiers, payment methods) — it should be reviewed by the client and, ideally, a solicitor before go-live.
1. The booking
A booking is confirmed once payment is taken (card) or the journey is accepted for cash payment, and you receive a booking reference. Fixed-price routes are priced in advance; other routes are priced by distance or by custom quote — either way, the price shown before you confirm is the price you pay, with no surge pricing.
2. Cancellations
Cancel more than 24 hours before pick-up for a full refund, more than 2 hours before for a 50% refund, or within 2 hours for no refund. Cancel any booking from your account or by calling us.
3. Waiting time
60 minutes’ free waiting time is included on airport pick-ups from the flight’s actual landing time. Additional waiting may be charged.
4. Payment
We accept payment by card at the time of booking, and cash to the driver on eligible vehicles and routes (a card is held for the cancellation policy, not charged). Executive-class and via-stop journeys are card payment only.
5. Our licence
BA Transfers Ltd is a licensed private hire operator, licence TFL-OP-1043 7715. All journeys are carried out by licensed PHV drivers in licensed vehicles.
